According to the Hai Duong Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the total dog and cat herd in the province is currently estimated at 89,950. In the spring crop of 2024 alone, localities have vaccinated 46,770 dogs and cats against rabies, reaching 51.9% of the total herd.
