La Liga president challenges Real to sue

“I’m not worried. The lawsuit (from Real Madrid) has no basis to go further. I’m sure I won’t be punished,” La Liga president Tebas told Mundo Deportivo . “They can sue, as long as they present it clearly and don’t edit or do anything shady.”

Over the past two years, Real Madrid has filed several lawsuits against La Liga, mainly related to issues related to television rights, tournament management and decisions by president Javier Tebas. On this issue, Tebas affirmed that La Liga manages a total of 42 clubs, and always puts the common good first. “The tight schedule is tiring, but the five substitution rule helps reduce the pressure on the teams. We are ready to explain all the details of the schedule,” he said.

Although not concerned about Real's lawsuit, Mr. Tebas also admitted that the scandals with the reigning champion of the tournament have created a bad image for La Liga recently.
