At Binh Dinh Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan sent his deepest congratulations to the Editorial Board, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Newspaper on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21. During the visit, comrade Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding efforts of the team of reporters, editors and employees of Binh Dinh Newspaper in the work of creativity and innovation in both content and form of press publications. In recent times, Binh Dinh Newspaper has performed well its role in providing official information, actively and promptly propagating the policies, laws of the State and the decisions of the province to the people, thereby contributing to creating consensus and strengthening people's trust in the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State. Party committees and authorities at all levels have also placed their trust in Binh Dinh Newspaper, through which the Newspaper has made important contributions to the socio -economic development, maintaining security and national defense of the province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that the merger of Binh Dinh Newspaper, Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station and the Provincial Party Committee's Electronic Information Page into Binh Dinh Newspaper is an important decision to implement the Party's policy on streamlining the apparatus and improving the effectiveness of propaganda work. On that basis, Comrade Pham Anh Tuan hopes that Binh Dinh Newspaper will continue to improve the quality of information and propaganda work, focusing on "hot" issues that the Central and the province are implementing. The newspaper needs to promote positivity in propaganda to create a spread, and at the same time, constructively reflect the limitations and shortcomings, contributing to further improvement and development.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Binh Dinh Newspaper to identify the goal of press autonomy, build a clear roadmap to achieve this goal, while ensuring internal solidarity, promoting democracy, and putting the common interests of the agency and locality first. He also emphasized that ensuring facilities, human resources and reasonable remuneration are key factors to help Binh Dinh Newspaper develop sustainably and reach new heights, not only for Binh Dinh province but also for the provinces after the merger.

Comrade Pham Anh Tuan suggested that the Provincial Journalists Association continue to be proactive and creative in orienting information and propaganda content, creating favorable conditions for press agencies to operate and work effectively, and at the same time, it is necessary to focus on managing well the team of reporters and collaborators.
Regarding the VNA Resident Office in Binh Dinh, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that this agency will continue to promote its role and responsibility in disseminating and promoting the image and development achievements of Binh Dinh province to readers nationwide and internationally.
