Prepare well for the National Conference to deploy People's Council work in 2024

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man said that the National Conference to review the work of the People's Councils of provinces and centrally run cities in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024 is quite large in scale, co-hosted by Hanoi City, with the participation of about 600 official delegates, including nearly 500 local delegates. The conference will take place in one day on March 25, 2024 in Hanoi.

Emphasizing that the preparation work plays a very important role, deciding the success of the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated that through the two conferences to summarize the work of the People's Council in the past two years, we have gained initial experience. In the third time of organizing this conference, with the coordination of Hanoi City, it is necessary to prepare more carefully, practically and effectively than the previous two times.

Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man acknowledged that the Delegation Affairs Committee had coordinated with the National Assembly Office to develop a plan and related contents to report at the meeting; acknowledged the attention and coordination of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments and branches of Hanoi in implementing assigned tasks.

At the same time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also noted that one of the lessons to successfully organize an event is to have a clear division of labor, clear tasks, clear people; coordination must be proactive, responsible, and substantial; immediate discussion of unclear issues, and proper implementation of responsibilities.

For the conference to be successful, National Assembly Permanent Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested that the agencies responsible for preparing for the conference continue to review assigned tasks to avoid mistakes.

For Hanoi, the host of the conference, this is also an opportunity to promote the image and organization of events of the capital, so Hanoi closely coordinates with relevant agencies to carefully prepare for the conference organization.
