The Vietnamese stock market exploded on November 8 with a series of stocks hitting the ceiling. Of these, the group of securities and real estate stocks led the market with dozens of stocks hitting the ceiling.
Specifically, the stock group was filled with purple with SSI, VCI, VND, VIX, FTS, BSI, HCM, ORS, CTS, AGR, VDS... The real estate - construction group also had many stocks hitting the ceiling: NVL, KBC, PDR, DIG, VCG, DXG, TCH, BCG, SZC, DXS, CRE, IJC, LCG, FCN, CII, HDC, QCG, SCR, KHG...
In addition, many other stocks in this group also increased to the ceiling such as KDH increased by 5.97%, HDG increased by 6.13%, NLG increased by 6.12%, ITA increased by 5.31% and the Vingroup trio VIC, VRE, VHM also increased by nearly 3%.
In addition to the two main groups, purple is also recorded quite a lot in the production group: GVR, HSG, NKG, DBC, ANV, IDI, GIL, GEX, DGC...
Banking stocks did not have purple color but many stocks increased from 3-4% such as: VPB increased by 3.14%, TCB increased by 3.92%, MBB increased by 3.09%, ACB increased by 3.17%, STB increased by 3.45%, HDB increased by 4.44%...
At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased by 33.14 points (3.07%) to 1,113.43 points with 475 stocks increasing, 65 stocks increasing and 45 stocks remaining unchanged.
At the end of the session on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index also increased by 8.74 points (4%) to 227.03 points with 154 stocks decreasing, 43 stocks increasing and 28 stocks remaining unchanged. Market liquidity increased sharply with the total transaction value in the whole market reaching nearly 21,600 billion VND, up 40% compared to the previous session. Of which, the HOSE floor accounted for nearly 18,600 billion VND.
In this explosive session, foreign investors still net sold nearly 190 billion VND on the HOSE floor.
