Stocks struggle after record drop, Novaland still hits floor price

(Dan Tri) - The stock market is still under strong selling pressure, many real estate stocks hit the floor, notably Novaland.

The stock market opened the afternoon session on October 21 in green, up more than 3 points as of 1:15 p.m., to over 1,639 points.

Earlier in the morning session, green covered the finance, consumer, and information technology groups. However, as the afternoon progressed, the index fluctuated more and more. By 11:10, the VN-Index had dropped more than 7 points, to 1,629 points. Red covered the HoSE and HNX floors.

Real estate stocks are still under strong selling pressure. Many codes hit the floor, such as SCR, QCG, LDG, CRV. In particular, NVL ( Novaland ) also hit the floor, with no buyers after the conclusion of the bond inspection. Yesterday, this code also hit the floor.

The group of stocks related to billionaires also differentiated in this morning's session. Codes related to billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong such as VIC, VHM, VRE all increased slightly. Notably, VJC (Vietjet) related to billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao had a time when it hit the ceiling, then maintained its green color, increasing by about 5%. Some other stocks such as Masan , Techcombank all decreased.

This morning, Techcom Securities Joint Stock Company (stock code: TCX) listed more than 2.3 million shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) with a reference price of VND46,800/unit.

Listing on a volatile market day, TCX shares remained green, at times maintaining an increase of nearly 6% to VND 49,600/unit.

Cash flow in the market tends to be volatile. Some codes are positively affecting the index such asFPT , LPB, TCX, VJC, HDB... Foreign investors were net buyers in the morning with a transaction value of more than 1,600 billion VND, as of 11:17.

The market performance in the morning session seems to be in line with the forecasts of many securities companies. The tug-of-war trend was predicted in advance. Investors are advised to focus on portfolio risk management and limit the use of margin during this period.
