Free medical examination program in Can Ty border commune

On July 6, the People's Committee of Can Ty commune coordinated with sponsors from Hanoi to organize a program to examine and give free medicine to people in the border area.

The program was attended by 25 doctors and nurses from Hanoi and Quan Ba ​​General Hospital. Here, people were screened for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, blood pressure, and internal medicine. Doctors combined health education and propaganda to help people better understand non-communicable diseases and proactively take care of their health.

After examination, the sick cases are listed for the local health sector to continue managing and providing long-term treatment.

Along with medical examinations, sponsors donated essential supplements and micronutrients to about 700 adults and nearly 300 children. At the same time, they supported 16 million in cash for 6 children in especially difficult circumstances and 10 poor households; donated many necessities, school supplies, and toys to the locality. The total value of the supported medicines and gifts was over 300 million VND.
