Thanh Hoa Club commits to future with coach Tomislav Steinbruckner

Coach Tomislav Steinbruckner will continue to stay at Thanh Hoa Club.

“We have a long-term plan with coach Tomislav Steinbruckner. Thanh Hoa Club cannot continue to change the head coach just because of a few bad matches,” said Mr. Cao Hoang Duc, CEO of Dong A Thanh Hoa Club, in response to a question from VTC News.

After the match between Thanh Hoa and Hai Phong in round 23, coach Tomislav Steinbruckner expressed his desire to resign. He took responsibility for Thanh Hoa's losing streak and apologized to Thanh Hoa fans. However, chairman Cao Tien Doan encouraged Mr. Steinbruckner to continue his job.

Some of the team's key players such as Doan Ngoc Tan, Dinh Viet Tu, Le Van Thang, A Mit and Lucas Ribamar also shared the pressure from the Croatian coach. They hope that this coach will stick to the plan he is building.
