The incident of a teacher beating a 6th grade male student happened after physical education class on November 12. On the afternoon of November 13, the student's family posted an article on social media, along with pictures of the student's bruised legs.

Mr. Sau said that at first the teacher admitted that the incident happened after the male student got into a fight with his friend, and she got angry when she used a ruler to hit the student's leg.

The school has decided to suspend the teacher for 5 days to clarify the incident.

According to Mr. Sau, teachers beating students like that is unacceptable for any reason.

"In this case, you should have found out the cause and invited the parents of the two children to discuss," said Mr. Sau.

It is known that the teacher and school representative visited the student's house and took him to the doctor with the family.

The Department of Education and Training of Duy Xuyen district is waiting for a specific report from the school and the results of the injury assessment to consider disciplining the teacher.
