After returning from the program “Sharing with teachers” held in Hanoi on the occasion of November 20, teacher Tran Thi Lan was still moved and proud. The event honoring teachers who have been bringing knowledge and love to students in difficult areas day and night is not only a source of encouragement, but also a driving force for teacher Lan to continue to contribute more to preschool education in difficult areas.

Born into a large family in Huong Lam commune (now Huong Xuan commune), from her school days, Ms. Lan soon nurtured a special passion for caring for and educating young children. Her love for children and her dream of becoming a preschool teacher became the driving force for her to constantly strive in her studies. In 2005, after graduating from the Faculty of Preschool Education, Ha Tinh Pedagogical College, Tran Thi Lan returned to her hometown, starting her journey of sowing seeds of love at Huong Lam Kindergarten - where she has been attached and devoted throughout the following years.
Ms. Lan shared: “With a great love for children, I started my teaching career with many difficulties and challenges. At that time, the school was still temporary, I was assigned by the school to be in charge of a group of classes located at the old medical station of Huong Lam commune (old). To overcome the lack of facilities, I asked my parents for help in providing wood to make 10 sets of desks and chairs for the students. Every morning, I went to each house in the village to mobilize and welcome each child to class…”
Those unforgettable early days have become beautiful memories, giving me more strength and faith in the path I have chosen. It is from those hardships that I learned to persevere, love my job more and deeply understand the meaning of the work of sowing seeds for the future. Up to now, even though I have spent many years in the profession, every time I recall that time, I still feel full of emotion and pride, because that is the foundation for my love and passion for teaching today."

In 2016, when Huong Lien Kindergarten was short of teachers, Ms. Lan proactively wrote a volunteer application to work, hoping to share some of the difficulties with her colleagues.
With the thought of learning to teach better, being creative to make children more interested, Ms. Lan has researched and learned, proactively applied information technology, brought vivid images, visual lectures and interactive games into learning activities, making each lesson more attractive and closer to children in the mountains. During the day, she is devoted to the class, in the evening she is diligently making teaching aids and toys, every corner of the classroom, every wall is meticulously decorated by her according to each learning topic, expanding the space for exploration and creativity for students.

Her tireless efforts to achieve the goal of creating the best educational environment for children in mountainous areas have also brought her proud achievements. For 9 consecutive years, she has been recognized as an excellent teacher at the district level; has 13 district-level teaching experience initiatives, and has received many certificates of merit at all levels. Notably, in the 2020-2021 and 2024-2025 school years, she won the second and third prizes for excellent teachers at the provincial level, and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In recognition of her contributions to the education career in the border area, at the program "Sharing with teachers" held in Hanoi on November 13 and 14, she was awarded a certificate of merit by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Youth Union.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Principal of Huong Lam Kindergarten said: "Although life is still full of hardships, teacher Lan always maintains an optimistic spirit, responsibility and dedication to her job. She constantly learns and innovates methods of caring for and educating children, is always a shining example of love for the job, is respected by colleagues, trusted by parents and loved by students".

With nearly 20 years of dedication to the career of "growing people", Ms. Tran Thi Lan is still persistent and dedicated on the journey of sowing love for the young buds in the highlands - where she has devoted her youth and passion to the teaching profession.
