Teacher died on the way to visit friend's death anniversary

According to Mui Ne Ward Police, Phan Thiet City ( Binh Thuan ), the accident occurred at 8:00 a.m. on June 13 on Xuan Thuy Street, Long Son Hamlet, Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City. At the time, two teachers from Hoa Da High School were riding a motorbike from Bau Trang (Bac Binh District) to Phan Thiet City. When arriving at the above location, the motorbike collided with a passenger car with license plate 62F - 000.69 traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision caused the front of the motorbike to be completely destroyed. Teacher Le Tran Viet Thu (46 years old, head of the Chemistry group, Hoa Da High School) died on the spot. The other person, Ms. Tong Thi Ngoc Hieu (44 years old, Physics teacher), was injured and taken to the emergency room.

The passenger bus had a dented front end after the collision.

It is known that the two victims both taught at Hoa Da High School (Phan Ri Cua Town, Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan ) and were on their way to Phan Thiet City to pay their respects at the death anniversary of the wife of a colleague who used to teach at the same school.

The traffic accident is currently being investigated and clarified by Phan Thiet City Police.
