The fact that Vietnamese music is well received by foreign audiences proves that it is in line with the musical tastes of international audiences. The common points that are easily seen in these songs are catchy melodies, easy-to-remember lyrics, and easy-to-sing-along lyrics.

Make Vietnamese culture famous

At the semi-final stage 2 of "Sing! Asia 2025", singer Phuong My Chi impressed with the performance "The Universe Has You" through a powerful rap in the image of a modern-day "Miss Tam". The performance was produced by DTAP. "The Universe Has You" is a story that transcends space and time, blending traditional Ca Tru with modern EDM, creating a rich yet integrated Vietnamese identity.

With his "super cool" voice and persistent musical journey, Duc Phuc was chosen to represent Vietnam at "Intervision 2025" - an international music event gathering many young talents from more than 20 countries. Russia restarted the Intervision singing competition after 40 years, with the goal of developing international cultural and humanitarian cooperation, while promoting traditional values.

Within the framework of the international music composition camp - Warner Chappell Music Asia Flagship Camp - which brings together famous artists and talented producers from many countries, DTAP is the only music producer from Vietnam to participate. Here, artists are connected and work directly with A&R (Artist & Repertoire) - those who specialize in finding and developing musical talent. Warner Chappell Music Asia Flagship Camp 2025 takes place from July 13 to 19 in Beijing - China. This is considered one of the largest music exchange and cooperation activities in Asia.

Flagship Camp is part of an annual series of activities organized by Warner Chappell Music - a unit of Warner Music Group - in many countries. It is an intensive composition model, where creative individuals from many different music backgrounds gather to exchange ideas and create new music products in a short time (from a few days to 1 - 2 weeks).

According to insiders, recently, Vietnamese music has been coming to international arenas more and more. No longer just exchange performances, Vietnamese singers' "bringing bells to strike foreign lands" have the mission of making Vietnamese culture famous, not simply a personal battle for victory or defeat.

Never stop innovating

"Vũ cổ có anh" is a song that once resonated in Vietnam and spread to the international music community, especially in Thailand. The song is imbued with national cultural colors but is still flexible and inspiring enough to be renewed in an international performance context. Inspired by the image of Tam in Vietnamese fairy tales, while also suggesting points of intersection with Cinderella in world popular culture, the song depicts a woman's journey to find a better version of herself - overcoming all limits of time and circumstances.

Compared to the original version, "Vũ cổ có anh" at "Sing! Asia 2025" has been changed in structure by DTAP when the opening part is replaced by a hook (chorus) with a typical ca tru melody. The combination of the đàn co, Trống con and đách creates an atmosphere rich in Vietnamese folk identity. DTAP has built a musical arrangement structure to create an artistic version that both maintains the core spirit and is new enough to "fascinate" the audience in an international performance context, demonstrating a clear strategy in bringing Vietnamese culture to the world through the language of music.

It is known that before the performance, Phuong My Chi spontaneously asked the director to combine with the saxophone artist on stage. This small detail shows how Phuong My Chi approaches art, proactively creates and always aims for personal performance experiences, in line with the stage strategy that she and her crew are pursuing.

Coming to Flagship Camp, DTAP also brought special gifts to introduce traditional Vietnamese culture to international friends such as chopsticks, traditional scarves and money tree.

In particular, the bundle of chopsticks is chosen as a symbol of solidarity and sharing - a core value in the community life of Vietnamese people.

The checkered scarf is not only a familiar item but also carries the mark of the Southwest region.

The senh tien tree - a traditional musical instrument often appears in traditional festivals, carrying the characteristic tones of Vietnamese folk culture.

With the spirit of connecting through music and culture, DTAP hopes that these gifts will be a warm greeting from Vietnam, contributing to spreading the simple yet profound beauty of Vietnamese culture to the global music community.

Experts say that to make a real impression on international audiences, the formula for creating easy-to-listen hits is just the beginning. To stay in the hearts of listeners, Vietnamese music must truly have a unique and distinctive highlight, and this is gradually being proven.

"Musician Nguyen Van Chung affirms that making a song known to international audiences is not a simple matter, it is a journey, a relentless creative effort.
