The trading session on August 6 saw the two codes HPG (Hoa Phat) andSHB (Saigon - Hanoi Bank) having the highest liquidity in the group of VN30 pillar stocks. Of which, the trading volume of HPG reached more than 96 million shares, SHB reached more than 92 million shares.
Yesterday, in the explosive trading session of the market with a value of over 83,830 billion VND, the above 2 stocks also had great liquidity. Hoa Phat is chaired by billionaire Tran Dinh Long, while SHB is led by Mr. Do Quang Hien (Mr. Hien).
HPG shares are at a 3-year high, up to VND27,100/unit. Similarly, SHB shares are also at a 3-year high, at VND18,750/unit.

Today's market was led by the increase of banking stocks, such as TCB, STB,ACB , MBB, VPB, LPB, SHB, HDB... In which, TCB increased by 3.24% compared to yesterday, trading more than 30 million shares with a value of more than 1,158 billion VND.
On the contrary, FPT and VRE stocks decreased by 0.85% and 2.75% respectively, negatively contributing to the general index.
However, the market's upward momentum was still maintained with the VN-Index closing the session up 26.56 points, to 1,573.71 points. The market was greatly supported by the VN30 group, when the score exceeded 1,723.
After a record trading session of VND83,830 billion, today's market recorded liquidity halving to VND41,775 billion.
