NDO - In the trading session on December 20, the market recovered right from the opening, but the bluechip stocks traded differently and the cash flow was small, causing the general index to fluctuate within a narrow range around the reference level. The focus of this session was on the transportation stocks racing to improve, in which the codes: VOS, VTO, MVN hit the ceiling. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 2.83 points to 1,257.50 points.
On the HoSE floor, the order matching value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 10,499.73 billion.
Foreign investors reversed their net buying on the HoSE floor, netting more than 32 billion VND. On the selling side, HPG shares were sold the most (90 billion VND), followed by NVL (70 billion VND), VHM (51 billion VND),... On the contrary, VNM shares were bought the most (126 billion VND), followed by VIX (104 billion VND),FPT (87 billion VND)...
Today's session, VN30 group traded differently, at closing there were 14 codes increased, 4 codes remained unchanged and 12 codes decreased.
Of which, BCM increased by 1.8% to VND 67,700/share, VNM increased by 1.72%, MWG increased by 1.34%, SSB increased by 1.21%.
Codes: MBB, TCB, VPB, FPT, GAS, SSI, VCB, VHM,VIB , VIC increased slightly.
Four codes stopped at reference, including:ACB , BID, GVR, VRE.
On the other hand, BVH decreased by 2.29% to VND51,200/share, POW decreased by 1.61%, PLX decreased by 1.02%.
The remaining codes: CTG, HDB, HPG, MSN, SAB, SHB, STB, TPB, VJC decreased slightly.
In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for POM, decreased by 4.35%, the rest mostly fluctuated slightly. Specifically, HMC, SMC, TLH increased slightly, 3 codes: DTL, NKG, VCA stopped at reference, HPG decreased slightly, HSG decreased by 1.06%.
Securities stocks traded less actively and closed the session in red, with APG down 3.34%, TCI down 2.11%, VND down 1.93%, codes: AGR, CTS, DSE, FTS, HCM, ORS, VCI down slightly. On the contrary, BSI, SSI, TVB, TVS, VDS, VIX increased slightly by less than 1%.
Banking stocks were in the red in the morning session but recovered slightly at the end of the session. In addition to the codes ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, codes such as: EIB, OCB, NAB decreased slightly, LPB and MSB stopped at reference.
Real estate stocks also traded quite positively, closing up 0.24%. In addition to the pillar codes: VIC, VHM mentioned above, FDC, TDH hit the ceiling, SJS increased by 5.31%, SZL increased by 5.03%, VRC increased by 4.27%, NTL increased by 3.97%, CCL increased by 1.9%, CKG increased by 1.79%, SIP increased by 1.69%, HTN increased by 1.67%, LHG increased by 1.39%...
Transport stocks competed to improve, in which VOS, VTO, MVN increased to the ceiling price, VSC increased by 1.94%, PVP increased by 1.98%, TCO increased by 3.59%, GSP increased by 2.07%, VNL increased by 2.48%.
Besides, industry groups such as raw materials, production materials, energy, food and beverage, utilities, telecommunications, software, distribution and retail closed the session in green.
Notably, YEG stock has shown no signs of cooling down as it continued to hit the ceiling price of VND19,000/share.
* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained its upward momentum almost throughout the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 3.80 points (+0.18%), to 2,087.04 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 529.47 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 12,768.55 billion. In the whole market, there were 243 stocks increasing in price, 79 stocks remaining unchanged and 147 stocks decreasing in price.
* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 227.07 points, down 0.47 points (-0.21%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 45.76 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 772.81 billion. The entire floor had 96 stocks increasing, 65 stocks remaining unchanged and 65 stocks decreasing.
The HNX30 index closed down 3.00 points (-0.62%) to 480.71 points. Trading volume reached approximately 23.76 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND530.58 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 8 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.
On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 93.39 points, up 0.67 points (+0.72%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 66.52 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 691.40 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 190 stocks increasing, 130 stocks remaining unchanged and 122 stocks decreasing.
* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 2.83 points (+0.23%) to 1,257.50 points. Liquidity reached over 540.17 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND12,695.97 billion. The entire floor had 238 stocks increasing, 74 stocks remaining unchanged and 149 stocks decreasing.
The VN30 Index increased by 3.61 points (+0.27%) to 1,317.77 points. Liquidity reached over 147.89 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND4,850.58 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 14 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 12 stocks decreasing.
The five stocks with the highest trading volume are VIX (over 28.82 million units), SHB (over 13.99 million units), HPG (over 13.74 million units), NVL (over 12.85 million units), SSI (over 12.28 million units).
