This morning (May 3), the 32nd SEA Games flag raising ceremony took place at the Morodok Techo Cambodian National Sports Complex with the full participation of representatives of sports delegations from participating countries.
According to the previous plan announced by the Organizing Committee (OC) of SEA Games 32, the flag raising ceremony of SEA Games 32 will be held on May 4, however, this plan has been pushed forward one day. Therefore, the two martial arts teams that arrived early, Kun bokator and Jujitsu, along with Mr. Hoang Quoc Vinh - Deputy Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation, represented Vietnam to attend the ceremony.
Each country sent 32 members to attend the flag-raising ceremony symbolizing the 32nd SEA Games. At exactly 8:30 a.m., the Vietnamese national anthem was played and the red flag with a yellow star was raised in front of many representatives of the countries.
The Vietnamese sports delegation solemnly looked up at the national flag and sang the national anthem at the 32nd SEA Games flag raising ceremony.

Deputy Head of Delegation Hoang Quoc Vinh presented a souvenir to the representative of the host country Cambodia.
Representatives of the delegations took souvenir photos after the flag raising ceremony.
The Vietnamese sports delegation attending the 32nd SEA Games consists of 1,003 members. The 32nd SEA Games will organize 608 events of 48 sports and sub-sports, of which Vietnam will participate in 31 sports with 446 events.
Also this morning, May 3, the Vietnamese delegation began to depart for the 32nd SEA Games with 168 members.
Head of the delegation Dang Ha Viet expressed the joy and determination of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation before leaving to compete at the 32nd SEA Games: "Today, in the cool air of the last days of spring. Especially in the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country on the occasion of the major holidays such as the Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023), the Hung Kings' death anniversary, and International Labor Day, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will set off with the highest spirit and determination."
"The Vietnamese Sports Delegation will compete with national pride and the highest determination, striving to be in the top group of the Congress. The Delegation will also strictly follow the instructions of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Each member of the Delegation will be an ambassador of a peaceful , friendly and fraternal Vietnam, wanting to be friends with all countries and spread the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends," emphasized Head of the Delegation Dang Ha Viet.
