This place is Diep Son island cluster in Van Thanh island commune, Van Ninh district, located about 60 km from Nha Trang. Diep Son is a series of 3 islands named after 3 species of birds, including Hon Bip, Hon O and Hon Qua, extremely ideal and beautiful for tourists to visit.
In the picture from left to right are Hon Bip, Hon Qua and Hon O.
The 400m road connects Hon O and Hon Qua, where visitors can walk back and forth between Van Phong Bay. The most unique feature is the white sand road in the middle of the vast ocean. The road was formed at the intersection of the ocean waves and is continuously deposited every day. However, the road does not always appear above the sea level but depends on the tidal schedule. Therefore, you need to check the water level before going to the island to have a complete experience.
The 800m road connecting Hon Qua and Hon Bip was washed away by a big storm in 2017.
Thanks to the favorable natural conditions, Hon Bip is the first tourist attraction in Diep Son Island, attracting many visitors to visit and experience. This is also the only island in Diep Son where people live because they can dig fresh water wells. However, after the storm Voi (November 4, 2017), the beautiful road connecting Hon Bip and Hon Qua was broken, causing many people to feel regretful.

Hon O, also known as the island of the reclining Buddha. Currently, Diep Son island only has a white sand road in the middle of the sea of nearly 400m connecting Hon O and Hon Qua remaining after the historic storm in 2017.
Previously, Hon O was an abandoned island with no people living there. Since 2016, Trinh Minh Dai Anh and his wife have asked the local government for permission to exploit tourism on this island by building leaf huts and running canoes to take tourists to visit and experience.
Tourists walk between the sea and the island
Despite many years of tourism exploitation, Mr. Dai Anh and his wife still try to preserve the most pristine features of the island by: Saying no to encroachment on the island's primeval forest; cleaning up trash and maintaining hygiene every day to restore the natural beauty of Diep Son; preserving coral reefs from fishing with rakes to protect the environment and marine ecosystem...
Previously, Diep Son only accepted visitors for day trips and experiences. Since Hon O was put into operation, the island also accepts overnight visitors to experience the life of real fishermen and fully enjoy the beauty of nature here, separate from the noise of the city.
Overnight, you can sleep in bungalows or camp on the sand next to the beach. Visitors can experience many activities such as fishing, squid fishing, crab catching, snail catching...
Fishing village on Hon Bip island
If you go to the end of Hon O, another surprise will await you. That is the white sand road leading straight to the sea, the islanders often call it by many names such as the road of Saint Moses in the Bible, or Tu Hai beach. The unique point of this road is the two hot and cold ocean currents located on the left and right sides of the road, due to the influence of volcanic geology. Therefore, you can choose to bathe in warm water or cold water depending on your preference right at Hon O.
If you only choose to play for the day, visitors also have many other interesting activities to choose from such as SUP, kayaking, diving to see coral, walking to check-in on the unique road in the middle of the sea, or walking around the island to explore all the wild beauty of this place.
The most attractive experience in Diep Son is watching the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the sea at a unique location, on a road in the middle of the sea.
Diep Son is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience life as a real islander. Life without electricity, without internet, without rush and pressure...
