Dong Nai police open many points to receive relief goods for flood victims

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security's leaders on supporting people in flood-affected areas, Dong Nai Provincial Police have deployed many points to receive contributions and support from people in the province to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by floods.

Many trucks carrying essential supplies were gathered at Dong Nai Provincial Police to promptly deliver them to flood victims.

At the Dong Nai Provincial Police Headquarters, many shipments were received by the Police of various units and localities very early. The transportation, classification and arrangement activities took place very urgently with the goal of delivering the goods to the people as soon as possible.

According to Dong Nai Provincial Police, in the face of complicated flood situation in Dak Lak province and other Central provinces causing heavy damage to people and property, seriously affecting people's lives; implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , the Provincial Police organized 2 working groups to support response, rescue, and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On the afternoon of November 22, the Provincial Police Department issued a dispatch order, sending 115 officers and soldiers along with equipment and vehicles to the flooded area of ​​Dak Lak province to support people.

According to initial statistics, as of 5:30 p.m. on November 23, Dong Nai Provincial Police had received 12 trucks of goods (each truck weighing 10 tons), with a total value of nearly 1.5 billion VND, including: rice, clothes, blankets, boots, gloves, medical drugs and many other types of food and essential items.

In addition, more than 432 million VND in cash was also received. These goods and essential necessities were transported on the night of November 23 to demonstrate the sense of responsibility and affection of the People's Public Security force in general, and Dong Nai Public Security in particular, towards people in the disaster-stricken areas, helping them to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Clothes will be sorted and shipped with essential goods.

From November 24 onwards, the police of communes and wards in the province will continue to receive support from people and will continue to arrange transportation to affected localities.

Also according to Dong Nai Provincial Police, after 2 rounds of reinforcements to support people in flood-affected areas, the Provincial Police will continue to arrange working group No. 3 to localities affected by floods to provide support.
