In many hamlets of Dong Hoa commune, the image of the Party cell secretary has become closer and more intimate when he regularly visits each household to grasp people's lives, listen to their thoughts, and promptly resolve their problems. The "skillful mass mobilization" is concretized by simple but practical actions in each daily task.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Secretary of Thanh An Hamlet Party Cell is a typical example in studying and following Uncle Ho through concrete actions. Originating from the concern that the hamlet still has many poor households and households in difficult circumstances, Mr. Khanh proactively contacted and mobilized businesses and philanthropists to support 100kg of rice/month to support the people.
The valuable thing is that instead of handing it over to the self-governing people’s group or the Hamlet Front Committee, Mr. Khanh went to each family to give rice, and at the same time visited and grasped the situation of each household. “I went to see what the people needed and what difficulties they were facing to continue to find ways to support them. The more I went, the closer I got to the people, the more I knew what to do for them,” Mr. Khanh shared.
Many people were moved when receiving rice. Ms. Thach Ry - a poor household in Thanh An hamlet said: "Uncle Khanh not only gave out rice but also asked about us and encouraged us. From that close work, we felt cared for and had more motivation to overcome difficulties in life."
Through the monthly rice distributions, knowing that Ms. Ry's daughter was old enough to go to school but still could not go to school because of the family's difficult circumstances, Mr. Khanh encouraged and explained to the family the importance of education.
“My family is poor, we work all day so sometimes we neglect our child’s studies. Thanks to Uncle Khanh’s care, reminders and dedicated help, my child can go to school, otherwise he would have had to drop out,” said Ms. Ry.
Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh , Mr. Nguyen Van Ngan - Secretary of the Party Cell of Hamlet 9 Cho always chooses the motto "listen to people, speak so that people understand, do so that people believe" as a guideline in his daily work. Not only renewing his working style towards being close to the people, Mr. Ngan also proactively goes to each group and each household to grasp the living situation and listen to people's feedback.
From that spirit, recently, Mr. Ngan has proactively discussed in the Party cell, agreeing on ways to mobilize Party members and people to contribute to the implementation of the "Rural Light" project, one of the urgent needs of people when participating in traffic on rural roads at night.

After the Party cell meeting and agreeing on the contribution level of 400,000 VND/person for each household and Party member, Mr. Ngan went directly to each family to mobilize and explain the significance of the project. Thanks to his close, straightforward and responsible style, the mobilization quickly received high consensus.
In just a short time, the entire Hamlet 9 Cho mobilized enough funds to install a lighting system for more than 2km of rural roads, contributing to ensuring traffic safety, preventing social evils and creating a new look for the locality.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, resident of Hamlet 9 Cho, shared: "At first, people were hesitant because they were afraid of the cost, but when Mr. Ngan went to each house to explain and offered a reasonable contribution, everyone agreed. With street lights at night, people feel more secure when traveling."
Mr. Ngan believes that if they want people to trust them, party members, especially party cell leaders, must be exemplary, practice what they preach, and put the common interest first in matters related to people's interests.
“Learning from Uncle Ho from the smallest things, we always try to approach people with a sincere attitude, open-minded, listen more, talk less but do more and do it for real. Thanks to that dedication, many new policies of the Party cell quickly received high consensus, especially in the work of mobilizing people to implement the criteria of new rural communes, protect the environment, and build a cultural life.”
The practical, people-friendly, and people-serving actions of the Party cell secretaries not only create trust among the people but also contribute to beautifying the image of cadres and Party members who study and follow Uncle Ho through concrete actions, contributing to building an increasingly innovative and civilized homeland.
