Quang Binh police hand over boarding house to teachers "staying in the village"

Quang Binh Provincial Police recently coordinated to organize the inauguration ceremony of a boarding house for teachers located in Rao Con village, Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province.

This is a meaningful activity in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security.

Rao Con village has 60 households, 280 people, 100% poor households, mainly Bru Van Kieu ethnic people. Currently, the village does not have an electricity grid system. From the town center to Rao Con village is about 20km of mountainous road.

Here is Phong Nha Primary School No. 2 (Rao Con village school) with 10 teachers "staying in the village". Because there is no dormitory at the school, the teachers have to separate the children's classrooms with thin curtains to cover the beds...

Colonel Le Van Hoa - Deputy Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police - said that, understanding the situation and legitimate needs, the Provincial Police actively mobilized socialized funds from agencies and units to coordinate in building a dormitory for teachers. The project includes 3 rooms, with a total area of 80m3, and a total construction cost of 400 million VND.

Also at the handover ceremony, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board presented a set of furniture and living facilities for the dormitory, worth 20 million VND.

This joint effort has spread compassion, solidarity and sharing, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, raising the intellectual level of the people and strengthening the military-civilian relationship, further promoting the movement of all people to protect national security, contributing to ensuring security and order in the mountainous areas of the province.

It is known that in recent years, Quang Binh Provincial Police have actively acted as a bridge to call for charitable units, building 11 schools in mountainous border villages, with a total cost of more than 4.5 billion VND.
