Gia Lai: 300 commune-level officials and civil servants are trained in the fields of culture, sports and tourism

(GLO)- On the morning of July 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province opened a training course for commune-level officials and civil servants in 2025 in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. The training course was attended by more than 300 students from 135 communes and wards in the province.

During the 2 days (July 18 and 19), students were imparted knowledge about the 2024 Heritage Law and 5 topics including: state management of culture; family building work that actively contributes to the process of socio -economic development, building and developing Vietnamese culture and people; building a plan for physical education and sports development and organizing sports competitions at the grassroots level; fostering knowledge about tourism; guidance on implementing grassroots information activities and speaking activities, providing information to the press.

Through the training course, commune-level officials and civil servants will be equipped, updated, and improved in knowledge, professional skills, and expertise, meeting the requirements of job positions and activities of the current two-level local government.
