Specifically, at 1:30 a.m. on November 25, Quang Ha Commune Police received a report that a fisherman went to catch snails in the sea of Quang Ha Commune, but could not get to shore in time when the tide was high, posing a threat to his life.
Immediately after receiving the information, Quang Ha Commune Police urgently deployed forces and coordinated with the Waterway Police on duty in the area to organize search and rescue.

After more than 3 hours of searching a large area at sea, despite the darkness and complex terrain, the search team discovered 2 fishermen stranded in the Co Ga - Ha Coi channel area and successfully organized a rescue.
The identities of the two victims were identified as Ms. Phun Sam Mui (born 1968) and Ms. Tang Sam Mui (born 1971), both Dao ethnic people, residing in Van Ly village, Duong Hoa commune ( Quang Ninh province).
Rescued and taken to a medical facility for timely care, the health and spirit of the two women have stabilized. They said they went to catch snails on the afternoon of November 24, but because they were busy, they did not notice the rising tide and got stuck, but were fortunately successfully rescued by police officers.
