Today, July 11, the Director of the Project Management Board for Land Fund Development and Industrial Cluster of Khe Sanh Commune, Quang Tri Province, Xom Van, informed that the conference organizer announced the detailed planning project for the Tan Do Lake Service - Tourism Resort Area (scale 1/500).

“This is an important event, marking a new step forward in concretizing the socio-economic development orientation, especially the tourism industry of Khe Sanh in the coming time. The project not only opens up opportunities to exploit the potential and advantages of landscape, culture and ecology, but also serves as an important basis for attracting investment, developing infrastructure and tourism services in a synchronous, modern and sustainable manner,” Mr. Xom Van affirmed.

Previously, on June 27, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa district (old) issued a decision approving the detailed planning project of Tan Do Lake Service - Tourism Resort Area (scale 1/500) in Khe Sanh town (old) with a scale of 81,600 ^m2 with items, creating architectural highlights in Khe Sanh town such as: resort villas combined with commerce, modern resort villas, exploitation services, trees, technical infrastructure and traffic.

The Management Board of Land Fund Development Project and Industrial Cluster of Huong Hoa District (formerly, now Khe Sanh Commune) is the planning organization; The joint venture of Truong Hai Joint Stock Company - RET Resources and Environment Company Limited - Quang Tri Branch is responsible for planning.

"The planning is intended to serve as a legal basis for auctioning land use rights and building high-end service and resort areas and related infrastructure to meet the needs of relaxation and entertainment of local people, domestic and international tourists, creating a highlight for the beauty of Tan Do Lake area, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the area, creating stable jobs and income for local people," Mr. Xom Van added.

At the conference, the Management Board of the Land Fund Development Project and Khe Sanh Commune Industrial Cluster handed over the decision and planning documents to the Economic Department and Khe Sanh Commune People's Committee for implementation.
