Previously, on June 27, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa district (old) issued a decision approving the detailed planning project of Tan Do Lake Service - Tourism Resort Area (scale 1/500) in Khe Sanh town (old) with a scale of 81,600 ^m2 with items, creating architectural highlights in Khe Sanh town such as: resort villas combined with commerce, modern resort villas, exploitation services, trees, technical infrastructure and traffic.

The Management Board of Land Fund Development Project and Industrial Cluster of Huong Hoa District (formerly Khe Sanh Commune) is the planning organization; The joint venture of Truong Hai Joint Stock Company - RET Resources and Environment Company Limited - Quang Tri Branch is responsible for planning.
