Announcing the 2026 university and college enrollment plan

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a decision on implementing university and college enrollment in 2026.

Accordingly, the ministry requires universities, academies, colleges and junior colleges training teachers in preschool education , together with candidates and relevant parties, to proactively develop specific plans, ensuring autonomy coupled with accountability in the entire enrollment process.

The Ministry requires training institutions to promptly announce their enrollment plans and information so that students can have a plan to study and review for the 2026 high school graduation exam, while fully complying with legal regulations and being accountable to the Ministry, management agencies and society for all enrollment work.

According to the general plan of the Ministry, before February 15, 2026, training institutions must complete the announcement of enrollment information on the website; on May 15, 2026, train and test the general enrollment support system software; on May 25, 2026, establish the Admission Support Steering Committee; from June 6, review high school learning results on the system. From June 17 to June 21, candidates will practice registering and adjusting their wishes on the system; review and confirm priority information, certificates, preliminary results and independent exams. By June 20, candidates will submit their applications for direct admission and priority admission to training institutions.

Before June 30, training institutions will complete the direct admission process, announce the results, and update the list of successful candidates on the system. From the time candidates register for the exam until August 30, educational institutions and the Department of Education and Training will continue to support candidates to register for the first round of admission online.
