Announcement of the decision to appoint officials for the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bisco Company

On December 23, 2024, at the office of Bien Dong Shipping Company Limited (Bisco), a solemn ceremony was held to announce the decision to appoint officials for the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bisco Company.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vietnam National Shipping Lines; comrade Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Deputy General Director of the Corporation; comrade Dong Xuan Khanh, Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Corporation and members of the Board of Directors, Executive Board and all Bisco staff.

Mr. Dong Xuan Khanh, Deputy Head of the Corporation's Human Resources Department, announced the appointment decisions.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Shipping Lines ( VIMC ), Comrade Dong Xuan Khanh, Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Corporation, announced the appointment decisions of the Corporation's Board of Directors for Mr. Tran Xuan Tung, to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bisco; Mr. Dao Nguyen Phuong, to hold the position of Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bisco.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Tinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Corporation presented the appointment decision.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh presented decisions to the appointed comrades and assigned tasks to the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bisco.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Tinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Corporation assigned tasks to the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Bisco.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh acknowledged the efforts, dedication and maturity of the appointed comrades; at the same time, he believed that the comrades would continue to practice in their new positions, continue to accumulate knowledge and leadership and management skills to perform well the assigned tasks. General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh emphasized the expectation of innovation in governance and administration, from the head to the awareness of each staff member, continuing to promote decentralization. In the context of the constantly changing and fiercely competitive maritime transport industry as it is today, not only the Corporation but also Bisco must always ask the question: "What are the bottlenecks, how to handle them?" and "Is there a new way of doing things?", thereby creating sustainable development values for the entire VIMC ecosystem. The Corporation is committed to always accompanying and supporting Bisco to effectively implement the production and business plan according to the Corporation's general development policies, orientations and strategies.
