On the afternoon of June 29, the Party Committee and the Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police and Da Nang City Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the City Police on organization and personnel according to the Resolution of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels.
Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police (appointed by the Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Director of Da Nang City Police from July 1) presided over the ceremony.
Immediately after Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of Da Nang City Police (new) was introduced, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan Tien, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of Quang Nam Province Police, announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the City Police on personnel work.
Accordingly, on June 22, 2025, the Minister of Public Security decided to arrange Deputy Directors of Da Nang City Police when merging Quang Nam Provincial Police and Da Nang City Police, including: Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police; Colonel Nguyen Van Tang, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Nguyen, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police; Colonel Nguyen Ha Lai, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police; Colonel Vo Thi Trinh, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police; Colonel Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police.
At the same time, the Minister of Public Security announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Kim Trung, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police Department, ending his secondment at the Internal Affairs Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee to take up work and hold the position of Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police Department from July 1.
On this occasion, authorized by the Director of the new Da Nang City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan Tien announced the decision to arrange 28 comrades to hold the position of Department Head and equivalent; 93 comrades were arranged to hold the position of Head of Commune and Ward Police in the new Da Nang City.
Major General Nguyen Huu Hop presented the decision of the Ministry of Public Security to arrange new Deputy Directors of Da Nang City Police.
Speaking on behalf of the leaders of the two localities at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh affirmed that the organization of the announcement ceremony today shows the proactiveness, exemplary spirit, and leadership of the police force in implementing the policy of rearranging and streamlining the organization and apparatus, and is an important premise for the police of units and localities under the city police to focus on implementing police tasks according to the 2-level police model from July 1, ensuring that the activities of the police force from the city to the communes and wards are deployed continuously, without interruption, to best ensure security and order and serve the people.
