Announcing the television rights for matches of the Vietnam National Team

On June 7, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and FPT Television Company Limited (FPT Play) announced the television rights for tournaments involving the National Men's Football Team, National Olympic Men's Football Team, National U23 Men's Football Team and National U22 Men's Football Team for 4 years, from 2023 to 2027.

Accordingly, all international matches that the Vietnamese team participates in and competes in, held in Vietnam, with television rights owned by VFF, will be produced and broadcast live by FPT Play on the following infrastructures: terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screening and exploitation on social networks...

VFF General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi affirmed: “With the advantage of being the unit that simultaneously holds the broadcasting copyright of national professional football tournaments and many other international tournaments of the continent in recent years, FPT Play is a reliable partner, with full potential and experience in implementing the above tasks. I believe that VFF and FPT Play will bring special football experiences to fans nationwide in the near future.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Hoang Viet Anh, Chairman of FPT Telecom and Deputy General Director of FPT Corporation in charge of digital transformation, said: "With experience in organizing production and live reporting of many international-class matches such as matches in the 2022 World Cup Asian Qualifiers Round 3 as well as tournaments under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)... FPT Telecom in general and FPT Play in particular are honored to accompany VFF to bring fans all the matches of the national team in the next 4 years. This cooperation event once again strongly affirms the message of creating happiness that we pursue."

In the near future, FPT Play will coordinate with VFF to broadcast live two friendly matches of the national men's football team within the framework of FIFA Days in June with the Hong Kong team (China) on June 15 at Lach Tray Stadium ( Hai Phong ) and the Syria team on June 20 at Thien Truong Stadium (Nam Dinh).
