Trade unions accompany, businesses move forward steadily

Amidst market pressure, the problem of retaining employees, maintaining production and building corporate culture is always a big challenge for FDI enterprises. At Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, Thai Thuy District), the trade union organization is playing a central role in creating a positive working environment, connecting employees and accompanying the enterprise on the path to sustainable development.

Right from the first days of operation, the Board of Directors of Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Company's Trade Union launched a movement to compete for good and creative workers, considering this the key to improving productivity, product quality and working environment. Many initiatives and technical improvements have been successfully applied, helping to optimize the production process, saving time and costs. Mr. Vu Quang Khai, the officer in charge of the assembly line, one of the typical faces of the movement to promote initiatives and technical improvements of the Company, shared: During the production process, I focused on researching and improving the process to make it easy for workers to work and achieve high productivity. Recently, I had an innovative initiative to switch from using hand-screwdrivers to screwing by machine in the electronic component assembly stage. This initiative not only shortens the operating time, reduces pressure on workers in repetitive operations, but also increases productivity by 1.5 times compared to manual work. With high productivity and good quality, workers are rewarded by the business and their income improves.

Such innovations are no longer rare at Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd., where every initiative, no matter how small, is respected, encouraged and recognized with timely rewards. Therefore, in addition to innovating production techniques, workers also proactively propose changes to the arrangement position on the production line, rearranging materials for more convenient operations... To achieve that, it is the close support of the trade union, a companion who always listens, sympathizes and encourages workers to maximize their own capacity.

The working atmosphere at Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. has a very distinctive color: serious but not stressful, competitive but not competitive. The Union plays a central role in creating this atmosphere through many practical caring activities. Every month, the Company Union organizes birthday parties for employees, promptly visits them when they are sick, and shares in difficult times. Mr. Nguyen Duc Duy, an assembly workshop worker, said: Working here, I feel respected. From shift meals to sports exchanges, everything helps me to be more attached to my work.

The Union does not stand aside from the issues, thoughts and aspirations of workers. All reflections and proposals are received by the Union Executive Board and discussed frankly with the Company's management. Thanks to that, labor concerns and conflicts are resolved quickly, and the working environment is increasingly friendly and transparent. A noteworthy point is that the Union also plays the role of "eyes and ears" to help businesses promptly identify problems in labor management, from discipline, production safety to building more reasonable processes. In particular, in the early stages of operation, the Company's Union proactively proposed to improve working conditions, coordinated to support dormitories for workers, contributing to helping workers stabilize their lives and feel secure in their long-term commitment. Mr. Tran Xuan Tuan, Chairman of the Company's Union, said: We are determined to accompany businesses, take comprehensive care of workers, from meals, sleep, health to the working environment so that they can develop their capacity and feel secure in their commitment to the business. Each union officer is like a "bridge" connecting workers with leaders, between practical needs and the Company's development strategy.

The Board of Directors of Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. highly appreciates the role of the trade union in building a stable human resource, creating a corporate culture and ensuring labor safety. Ms. Nguyen Thi Diu, Acting Director of Management, Head of the Company's Human Resources Department, affirmed: The trade union always accompanies the enterprise in long-term strategies such as recruitment, vocational training, improving labor productivity, creating a friendly and safe labor ecosystem. Thanks to that close coordination, we overcame many difficulties, successfully completing the production and business goals and plans of the first year of operation.

Along with internal tasks, the Trade Union of Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. also organizes social activities such as donating blood, participating in environmental protection, coordinating support for workers in difficult circumstances... These practical activities contribute to enhancing the reputation and image of the enterprise in the community. Not limited to the role of protecting workers' rights, the trade union organization here has risen to become a development partner, creating a cultural identity to help the enterprise become more stable in competition and international integration.
