On November 19, the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper presented more than 63 million VND in donations from the unit's officials, civil servants and employees to the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union to support people affected by storms and floods.
Ms. Ly Thi Hong Diep, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, said: Previously, responding to the call of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , Agriculture and Environment Newspaper launched a fundraising campaign throughout the agency. Each officer, civil servant, and employee contributed at least one day's salary, showing the spirit of sharing with the losses of people in the disaster area.

In addition, the Newspaper also cooperated with many businesses and sponsors, with the support of readers to carry out practical relief activities, such as giving gifts to households that suffered heavy losses; supporting seeds of crops, livestock, rice, essential items and cash for people to restore production; giving gifts and bicycles to students in difficult circumstances. The Newspaper also actively responded to the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", supporting the construction of houses for people in some localities.
Comrade Nguyen Ha Xuyen, Chairman of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union, welcomed the active support of the Newspaper. The union members not only closely followed information about natural disasters, continuously reflected on the difficulties of people in storm and flood areas, but also paid much attention and supported the work of overcoming the damage.

In recent days, storms and floods have been unusual, causing great damage in many localities. Following the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, since the beginning of October, the industry union has been the focal point for receiving support from officials, civil servants, public employees, union members and workers in the entire Ministry.
The total amount received as of October 31, 2025 is over VND 5.4 billion. Of which, VND 222,525 million was directly donated at the Launching Ceremony on October 9, 2025, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Environment; more than VND 5.2 billion was transferred to the account of the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union.

To provide timely support to our compatriots, the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union has transferred 5.2 billion VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front . Currently, the Trade Union is continuing to receive support from agencies, units and individuals in the whole industry, in order to contribute to helping people in flood-hit areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Through practical and timely activities, the Vietnam Agricultural and Environmental Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a bridge to spread the spirit of mutual love in the community.
