Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong has recovered from his injury and is ready to play in Binh Phuoc's decisive match against Long An at 4:00 p.m. on June 21, in round 22 of the 2024/25 First Division. According to the Southeast team, Cong Phuong returned to normal training on the afternoon of June 20, even showing his full potential when participating in finishing exercises with his teammates.

The presence of Cong Phuong is of great significance to Binh Phuoc in the context of the team's fierce competition with PVF-CAND for a place in the promotion play-off match. Before the final round, Binh Phuoc temporarily ranked second in the table with 41 points, one point more than direct competitor PVF-CAND.
