On June 21, International Yoga Day was celebrated globally, marking 10 years since it was first celebrated in 2015, after the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution with co-sponsorship by Vietnam.

This year's theme is "Yoga for One Earth, One Health", highlighting the connection between human and planetary health.
In Vietnam, more than 40 Yoga performances and promotion events are taking place across provinces and cities, lasting from mid-May to early July. Notably, the large-scale performances at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Hanoi) and Tam Thanh Square (Quang Nam) attracted a large number of officials, diplomats and the Yoga-loving community.
On June 21, yoga performances were held in Ho Chi Minh City (Nguyen Hue walking street), Khanh Hoa (2-4 Square, Nha Trang City), Quang Nam (Tam Thanh Beach Square, Tam Ky City) and Hanoi (Quan Ngua Sports Palace).
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a letter to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, expressing his gratitude for Vietnam's support and contribution in promoting Yoga as part of the common heritage of humanity.
