Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company conducts disaster prevention and control drills

On the afternoon of June 10, in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company organized a drill on natural disaster prevention, control and search and rescue in 2025, with the participation of 130 officers and workers from affiliated units.

The hypothetical situation is that the storm makes landfall and knocks down some low-voltage power poles, causing a power outage at the T.528 transformer station supplying power to Thai Hung Urban Area, Nha Trang City. In order to quickly supply power to customers, the shock force of the power teams and enterprises of Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company has divided into 3 groups to fix the problem. In which, the Hot Power Grid Repair Team and Nha Trang Central Power Company are responsible for connecting the 22 kV line at pole 481MVO/1/2/2; the Vinh Nguyen, Dien Khanh - Khanh Vinh Power teams erect two new 10m iron poles to replace the broken poles. Other units such as: Van Ninh, Ninh Hoa, Vinh Hai, Cam Lam, Cam Ranh, Khanh Son, High Voltage Power Grid Enterprise and Service Enterprise coordinate to conduct first aid drills at the scene. In just a short time according to regulations, the groups have completed the restoration of power supply to the urban area.

According to the leader of Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company, the drill is an important periodic activity, helping to improve the ability to respond to natural disasters, ensure the safety of the power grid, proactively provide continuous and safe power supply during the rainy and stormy season. The drill aims to help workers practice technical operations, coordinate smoothly and handle situations flexibly in field conditions; practice first aid skills for victims of cardiac and pulmonary arrest, increase the ability to save lives in emergency situations. At the same time, practice the technique of connecting the hotline to supply power to the mobile transformer station. This hot power repair technology will not have to cut off the main line, limit the power outage area, the main line will continue to supply power to the remaining loads. Currently, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company is one of the first three units in the country to deploy this technology.
