The Dong Viet Bridge and approach road construction project is a key project invested by the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works. The project has a total investment of nearly 1.5 trillion VND from the provincial budget and local government bonds. Inspection shows that the Dong Viet Bridge items built across the Thuong River with a length of more than 811 m and a bridge surface of 23.5 m wide have been completed.

The road leading to the bridge, with a total length of nearly 7 km, is being accelerated. Up to now, the entire route has basically completed the foundation, the crushed stone foundation has reached 100%, the asphalt concrete pavement has reached more than 7.4 km. At the same time, the construction of the horizontal drainage system on the route has been basically completed, the construction and installation of guardrails has reached 1.5/7.725 km.
Checking the progress of the investment project on the connecting road from DT.295 to QL.37 (Lang Giang district), the representative of the construction contractor said that the project has completed the roadbed and foundation for 2.4/2.8 km; and laid concrete for 2/2.8 km. The project has a total cost of about 107 billion VND with a total length of more than 2.8 km. Basically, the project's construction progress is delayed due to the delay in compensation and site clearance for the section passing through Tan Hung commune. Therefore, the contractor requested the local authorities and related units to resolve the remaining site problems and promptly hand over the site for construction to ensure the project's progress.
Speaking at the inspection site, comrade Phan The Tuan emphasized that the rainy and stormy season is approaching, so contractors need to take advantage of favorable weather to mobilize maximum human resources, machinery and equipment to speed up the construction progress of project items, ensuring labor safety and project quality.
He requested the construction unit of the Dong Viet bridge approach road project to continue to uphold its role and responsibility, monitor and urge the progress of each project; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.
For the investment project of the connecting road from DT.295 to QL.37, Lang Giang District People's Committee needs to urgently complete the compensation and site clearance work at the remaining locations, and promptly hand over to the contractor to carry out the items according to the project schedule. After completing the project items, the construction units need to complete the procedures for settlement of completed volume with the project investor in accordance with legal regulations.
