Song Chu Company launches Workers' Month 2025

Workers' Month 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering into a new era" is focused on by trade unions at all levels with 5 groups of activities. Many practical activities are implemented by the grassroots trade union of Song Chu Company such as: propaganda, mobilizing union members and workers in the unit to actively study and improve their professional skills; innovate working style, improve labor skills; inspect and supervise the implementation of regimes and policies for workers; organize dialogues and sign collective labor agreements with employers.

In addition, the Trade Union coordinated with the professional sector to visit and support workers and laborers in especially difficult circumstances, suffering from work-related accidents and occupational diseases; organized cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities to improve the cultural and spiritual life of workers and laborers; honored and commended exemplary workers and laborers in trade union activities, production and business...

Workers' Month 2025 is associated with the response to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace", the grassroots trade union, in coordination with Song Chu Company's professional staff, promoted the emulation movement "Green-Clean-Beautiful, Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", perfected the network of occupational safety and hygiene workers; signed a Collective Labor Agreement including contents on occupational safety and health, strengthened propaganda and training on occupational safety and health and fire prevention for both employers and employees in the company.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Duc Hung, Chairman of the Trade Union of Song Chu Company emphasized: The activities of "Workers' Month" and "Occupational Safety and Health Action Month" in addition to the propaganda meaning in the peak month will continue to spread throughout 2025 and the activities of the Trade Union as well as the company. Through that, continue to affirm the role of the trade union organization in representing and caring for the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and employees, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the company.

In order for "Workers' Month" and "Occupational Safety and Health Action Month" in 2025 to be truly attractive and practical for workers and employers, and to achieve the best results, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Song Chu Company calls for the active and enthusiastic response of affiliated units, a large number of cadres, union members, workers and employees, and requests that affiliated units select specific and meaningful work contents to implement during the peak month.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Cong Binh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee's Trade Union, acknowledged and highly appreciated the implementation and organization of the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 of Song Chu Company. At the same time, he requested that the grassroots Trade Union, workers and employees continue to promote their roles and responsibilities, build a strong team of workers and employees, and contribute to the development of the company.

Union members in especially difficult circumstances receive support from the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union.

On this occasion, 10 union members with serious illnesses were awarded 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift worth 300,000 VND/person from the Thanh Hoa Union's Union Support Fund; 10 union members with especially difficult circumstances, employees with work-related accidents or occupational diseases of Song Chu Company received support from the Provincial People's Committee's Union with a budget of 500,000 VND/person; The Standing Committee of the Song Chu Company's Union awarded 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to employees in difficult circumstances.
