Voters of Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City petitioned on many civil issues

On the morning of August 7, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, including delegate Nguyen Van Minh, member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Committee; Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Party Secretary, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Thuan An Ward, met with more than 200 voters of Thuan An Ward.

At the meeting, the delegation listened to nearly 20 opinions, recommendations and solutions for building Ho Chi Minh City from voters of Thuan An ward.

Many voters suggested that it is necessary to be more drastic in dealing with the problem of counterfeit goods that affect people's health; in particular, it is necessary to propagate the situation of fraud via social networks with sophisticated tricks and identifying signs so that people can take precautions.

Voters are also concerned about social housing issues, or the lengthy procedures for issuing and renewing driver's licenses, frequent flooding during storms in the Trang Bridge area, Thanh Loc neighborhood; the use of child labor, herding children to sell lottery tickets, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Van Minh, on behalf of the delegation, thanked the voters, acknowledged their opinions and said he would coordinate with relevant units to satisfactorily respond to the issues of concern to voters.
