This is the 18th time the showroom has opened at 62 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi to welcome visitors to learn about the products.
During this event, the organizers displayed over 500 genuine and fake products, collected by market management forces during the inspection and handling of violations, as well as provided by representatives of genuine trademark owners.
Products span many fields including food, agricultural products, cosmetics, functional foods, fashion , footwear, auto and motorbike parts, etc.

Not only consumer products such as chemicals, cosmetics, instant noodles, MSG, salt... but also imported agricultural products such as grapes, Korean pears are being counterfeited a lot. With the same appearance as the real products, imported pear products are labeled as Korean and sold at a higher value.
Notably, there are many products provided by the Japan Intellectual Property Association for display and introduction to Vietnamese consumers, including: Asics sports shoes, Yonex badminton rackets, Canon camera batteries, Transino cosmetics, YKK zippers, NGK spark plugs, Uniqlo clothes...

Even components and equipment of famous motorcycle brands such as Honda are counterfeited. The company's representative said that counterfeiting of components and equipment is becoming more and more sophisticated, making it difficult for consumers to recognize and differentiate.
The most obvious distinguishing feature is that the labels are made the same in color and displayed letters, but only when shining a light on the label on the product, the real product shows the word Honda, while the fake product does not.
These are all product lines with high consumption demand, easily counterfeited due to high value. At the showroom, each product has clear real - fake proof, helping visitors directly compare, identify every different detail, from material, design to label in an intuitive and vivid way.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, emphasized that the showroom is a practical activity, contributing to spreading legal knowledge and improving consumers' self-protection capacity.
At the display areas, market management officers directly instruct people on how to identify counterfeit goods through stamps, labels, QR codes, traceability technology and characteristic signs of each product group.
The gallery is open to visitors from November 21 to 25. Opening hours are from 9am to 5pm daily.
The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development hopes that the event will contribute to promoting the building of a transparent and safe market and raising awareness of smart consumption in the context of increasingly sophisticated counterfeit goods, especially on e-commerce platforms.
