BTO-On the afternoon of October 4, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen - Standing Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate of Binh Thuan continued to have a meeting with voters before the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly in Thuan Hoa commune, Ham Thuan Bac district.
At the meeting, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen informed voters of the expected content and program of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly and responded to comments and suggestions from the previous session.
Thuan Hoa commune voters highly agreed with the content and program. At the same time, they proposed some issues of concern such as: dividing agricultural land plots, the regulation that only 2,000 m2 can be divided. This causes difficulties for people because they cannot divide to give or give to their children if the area is less than the prescribed area. With education reform, people benefit, but it causes difficulties and costs when textbooks are changed every year.
In addition, voters continue to petition about the lack of domestic water, affecting production and daily life, even though they had petitioned at the previous session and had received a response. In streamlining the staffing of commune-level officials, there are subjects holding 3 concurrent positions such as: Office, Propaganda, Mass Mobilization or 2 concurrent positions including Organization and Inspection of Party work at the grassroots level. The work pressure is quite heavy but they belong to the non-professional group, and enjoy very low allowances. Voters request National Assembly Deputies to recommend that superiors consider adjusting this position to the civil servant group to meet the requirements of the task and feel secure at work.
The recommendations were discussed and explained by representatives of district and commune leaders. National Assembly delegate Pham Thi Hong Yen further explained and noted down opinions within her authority to submit to the National Assembly and relevant agencies.
