Representative Pham Thi Hong Yen reported to the constituents on the results of the issues previously raised in their petitions.
At the conference, voters in Hong Son heard a report on the results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the National Assembly considered and passed 7 laws and 9 resolutions, gave opinions on the acceptance, revision, and adjustment of the submission time for the National Assembly to consider and approve 2 draft laws, and gave initial opinions on 8 other draft laws. At the same time, it conducted thematic supreme supervision on “The implementation of National Assembly resolutions on national target programs on building new rural areas in the period 2021-2025, sustainable poverty reduction in the period 2021-2025, and socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030”.
Voters make recommendations
Voters in Hong Son commune believe that the draft Land Law is of particular importance, having a significant impact on socio-economic activities and people's lives, but it has not been passed at this session. Therefore , voters believe that the Land Law should be enacted soon to ensure its suitability and have made several recommendations related to land, such as: the slow issuance of land use right certificates, current legal barriers hindering land subdivision, and unclear land valuation methods…
Voters in Hong Son have submitted several proposals.
Voters in Hong Son also raised concerns about the environmental pollution caused by a pig farm with 60,000 pigs, asking who is responsible. Furthermore, voters requested attention to the placement, training, and professional development of local agricultural officials, and expressed worries about theft and drug use in the area. Voters also requested improved policies for war veterans; and noted that the main road from Suoi Da (Hong Son) to Ham Tri is deteriorating, affecting people's work, production, and transportation .
Representatives from the commune, district, and relevant departments and agencies explained and discussed several issues related to the locality. Representatives of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province respectfully acknowledged and fully accepted the opinions of the voters to submit recommendations to higher-level state agencies, while also analyzing and clarifying some issues of concern to the voters .
Concluding the meeting with voters, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, requested that local authorities and departments continue to review and promptly resolve voters' requests in a fair, reasonable, and lawful manner. He also acknowledged voters' suggestions regarding comments on the draft amended Land Law, research and recommendations on the electricity sector, the lifespan of solar panels, and ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.
