On the afternoon of May 13, the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) announced that the Department of Food Safety had issued Decision No. 209/QD-ATTP dated May 12, 2025 on revoking the validity of the product declaration registration certificate for 18 health protection food products announced by Abbott Healthcare Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Talking to a reporter from Cong Thuong Newspaper about the reason for recalling 18 health food products of Abbott Healthcare Vietnam Co., Ltd., a leader of the Food Safety Department said that "the company voluntarily withdrew the application and voluntarily recalled it".
However, the leader of the Food Safety Department said he was busy in a meeting and would inform later whether this business's withdrawal of the application was related to quality or not.

According to the Department of Food Safety, this decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Decision No. 187/QD-ATTP dated April 29, 2025 of the Department of Food Safety on revoking the validity of the certificate of registration of the declaration of health protection food products of Abbott Healthcare Vietnam Company Limited.
