Sharing at the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha, Director of the Institute of Business Innovation, said that AI is no longer a trend but has become an essential part of the journey to improve performance and competitiveness. AI application in Vietnam is in its early stages, with a lot of potential but also many barriers in terms of awareness, technical capacity and implementation costs. The positive thing is that more and more domestic enterprises are providing AI solutions suitable to the needs and specific conditions of Vietnamese enterprises.
Mr. Le Cong Thanh, Chairman and General Director of InfoRe Technology Company, an AI expert, commented: When AI exploded, Vietnam approached it very quickly. However, currently, the application of AI in Vietnam is still in its infancy and rudimentary, only used at the individual level in businesses. Leaders of many organizations are still in the process of learning, and practical application among employees is not yet popular.
While Vietnam and other countries are starting the AI race, if “they wear shoes, Vietnamese people are still barefoot”. According to him, for AI to become a real part of the organization, leaders need to take the lead in changing their mindset, considering AI as a new workforce. From there, AI skills can be spread to each individual in the business.
The perspective on the difficulties in applying technology was also shared by Mr. An Ngoc Thao - Director of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association. He said that the obstacle does not lie in technology but in the awareness of users. In which, two common misconceptions are that AI can do everything, or AI cannot completely replace humans.
He emphasized that AI is just a tool, and when used properly, it will effectively support humans. MISA 's solutions are a typical example of integrating technology at a reasonable cost and reducing software fragmentation. But to exploit it effectively, businesses need to change their mindset and be proactive in the transformation process.
At the event, MISA Joint Stock Company also launched the MISA AMIS OneAI platform - a solution to unify the most advanced AI models to popularize AI in Vietnam according to the national digital transformation strategy. The platform supports both businesses, state organizations and households to apply AI easily and effectively.
