The Southeast region is experiencing a widespread heat wave. Today, April 9, the observed temperature at 1 p.m. was generally 35°C. This weather pattern is forecast to continue in the coming days, with the highest temperature ranging from 35-36°C and the lowest relative humidity of 45-50%, increasing the feeling of heat.

Along with the Southeast, some other regions of the country also experience heat waves, although not widespread but still strong in some places. Specifically, on April 10 and 11, the Northwest region of the North, the western mountainous areas of the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue may experience localized heat waves, with the highest temperature during the day exceeding 35°C.

However, the weather in other areas of the Northwest is more complicated with the appearance of showers, thunderstorms and sunshine. During the day, the sun is quite strong, the highest temperature ranges from 30-33°C, some places above 33°C, but in the evening and at night, there is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms in some places.

The weather in the Northeast is quite different from the Northwest. Tonight and tomorrow, April 10, this area will have rain in some places. Early in the morning, fog and light fog will appear scattered. In particular, the Northeast coast will have light rain, drizzle with fog in the early morning, by noon and afternoon the sky will turn sunny, the temperature will gradually increase, fluctuating from 25 to 28°C, some places above 28°C.

Forecast for the night of April 10 and April 11, this area will have localized rain. Early morning fog will continue, noon and afternoon will be sunny again.

Around April 12, cold air will strengthen again in the North, then continue to strengthen further to the South. Many places in the North will experience heavy rain.

In the Central and Central Highlands, the weather remains sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Although widespread heat has not been recorded as in the Southeast, daytime temperatures in many places exceed 33°C, making people feel hot. Notably, showers and thunderstorms in the evening pose the risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

In particular, in the coming hours, Dak Nong and Kon Tum will have rain, with average rainfall of 20-40mm, and in some places over 50mm. There is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes in many districts: Gia Nghia, Dak Glong, Dak Song, Dak R'Lap (Dak Nong); Tu Mo Rong, Dak Glei, Kon Plong (Kon Tum).
