The 2023 Central Highlands 7-a-side Football Cup, co-organized by VietFootball, officially kicked off at Tay Nguyen University's football field on the evening of November 4.
The most attractive tournament of the 7-a-side national playground in 2023, the Central Highlands region has the participation of 6 home teams including: Dak Lak Lottery, Tay Nguyen FC, Lucifer FC, Tay Nguyen University, OCB Dak Lak, Tuan Vu FC and 2 guest teams from Lam Dong, Hong Lac FC and Bac Si Ha.

On the first day of competition, the reigning champion Dak Lak Lottery had a favorable start in their journey to defend their title after defeating Tay Nguyen FC 3-0 thanks to a double from Duc Long and a goal from Xuan Truong to take the lead in Group A.
The remaining match in the same group between two rookies participating in the tournament for the first time, Tay Nguyen University and Lucifer FC, ended with a 2-1 victory for Lucifer FC.

In Group B, the home team Tuan Vu FC defeated the away team Bac Si Ha 3-1 to take sole possession of the top spot, while OCB Dak Lak was held to a 2-2 draw by the away team Hong Lac.

The second season of the 2023 Hyundai Thanh Cong National 7-a-side Football Cup, the Central Highlands region taking place in Dak Lak continued to show its attraction when a large audience was present to watch the competitions of players who used to play professionally or played in the national futsal championship.
The tournament will end on December 2.
