iPhone 17 Air size and price information available?

The latest report from South Korea's Sisa Journal says that the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be just 6.25mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone ever. Compared to the regular iPhone 16 models, the iPhone 17 Air will be 20% thinner, and 25% thinner when compared to the iPhone 16 Pro versions.

Notably, this thinness information has been confirmed by many other sources, saying that Apple is planning to release the iPhone 17 Air with a thickness of about 5mm to 6mm.

iPhone 17 Air will have 'surprisingly low price'

Notably, Sisa Journal said that the iPhone 17 Air could replace the Plus model and retain the same price as the iPhone 16 Plus. This means that the product will only cost around $899, depending on the configuration Apple offers. This figure is much lower than previous rumors that said the iPhone 17 Air would start at around $1,299, making it the most expensive iPhone model Apple has ever released.

While the iPhone 17 Air will likely be cheaper than the iPhone 17 Pro models, Apple could potentially raise prices across the entire lineup. The report also points to Samsung's Galaxy S25 and S26 models, as well as Apple's iPhone 17 and 18, potentially leaving consumers facing higher prices for their successors.

However, two consecutive price increases are not certain, said Jong Wook Lee, a senior researcher at Samsung Securities Research Center. Mr. Lee said that Apple's iPhone prices are expected to increase in 2026, with no unusual price increases in 2025.
