Speaking to Thanh Nien on April 26, Mr. Le Anh Kiet, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Da Lat City, said that through a survey of hotels and other accommodation establishments in the area, the number of new room bookings reached 70 - 75%, with star hotels reaching 85%; each booking by tourists lasted an average of 2 days. This holiday also takes place during the Lam Dong Golden Tourism Week 2023, so Da Lat City hopes that tourists will continue to come to Da Lat in the coming days and spread out throughout the holiday.

According to Mr. Kiet, in preparation for welcoming visitors to Da Lat during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Da Lat City has set up 3 inspection teams, reminding accommodation establishments and food services to publicly post prices, ensure food safety and hygiene, and prevent Covid-19 epidemics. Meanwhile, according to Thanh Nien reporters, many online agency channels specializing in hotel room sales said that up to this point, many 3-5 star hotels in Ha Long Fully booked for the holiday of April 30 - May 1.

Not only are hotels full, cruise ships exploring Ha Long Bay also have few vacancies.

Mr. Vu Tuan Bach, manager of Manalonis Hotel (Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh ), said: On this occasion, room rates in Bai Chay area increased by about 20 - 30%, this is normal because during holidays and weekends, prices are always higher than normal days.

Not only the hotel system, the fleet of cruise ships to visit Ha Long Bay is also ready for the peak season. To avoid the situation of tourists having to wait for a long time, travel companies have pre-contracted with cruise ship owners for the day, as well as overnight stays.

According to the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, to ensure safety during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the locality will establish interdisciplinary teams to conduct surprise inspections of all services in Ha Long City as well as some other tourist hotspots.

It is expected that the number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in Quang Ninh province during the 5-day holiday (from April 29 to May 3) will reach about 430,000, an increase of 26% compared to 2022.
