On July 21, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches issued recommendations to ensure safety for people participating in SUP activities.
Accordingly, SUP paddling activities should only take place within the prescribed time frame: from 4:30 to 8:00 a.m. and from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This recommendation is to ensure the safety of participants, protect the marine environment and maintain urban aesthetics. The management board requests that SUP paddling not be performed during bad weather, rough seas or strong winds.
At the same time, participants must wear life jackets and safety harnesses throughout the SUP paddle. SUP paddles can only be performed in areas with signs at Man Thai beach, avoiding areas with swimmers and coral protection areas.
Participants are also not allowed to bring pets, organize meals or use stimulants during SUP paddling.

For organizations and individuals providing SUP services, the Management Board requires strict implementation of regulations related to this activity at the beach.
Services must be performed within permitted areas, not in areas where guests swim and in coral protection zones. Organizations must train and instruct guests on safety skills before using the service and always have staff accompanying guests.
SUP, or Stand-up Paddleboarding, is a water sport in which players stand on a floating board and use a paddle to move across the water. This sport originated in Hawaii and has become popular worldwide for its recreational and fitness benefits./.
