Da Nang continues to invest 231 billion VND to build a resettlement area for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway.

To serve the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project, Da Nang City continues to invest more than 230 billion VND to build Resettlement Area No. 2.

The Chairman of Da Nang City, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, has just signed a Decision approving the investment project to build Resettlement Area No. 2 to serve the clearance of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Construction Project, part of the North - South Expressway of Da Nang City.

Resettlement area No. 2, with a total project cost of more than 231 billion VND, belongs to group B projects, with capital allocated from the Da Nang city budget; construction is underway in Ba Na commune.

The project items include leveling, traffic, stormwater drainage, wastewater drainage, and water supply. In addition, the project also involves dismantling and relocating medium and low voltage lines and 220kV power poles, trees, parks, and lighting.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan highway section has been technically opened to traffic.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway construction project, part of the North-South expressway construction project in the East phase 2021-2025, was technically opened to traffic on August 19, 2025.

The project has a total length of about 11.5km, total investment of about 2,113 billion VND, using state budget capital.

Da Nang City is investing in 3 resettlement areas to serve the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section.

Specifically, resettlement area No. 1 is under construction; resettlement area No. 2 has just had its construction investment project approved; and resettlement area No. 3 will undergo planning approval procedures and is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The entire 3 resettlement areas are expected to be completed by the end of 2026 by the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project will be completed by the end of 2025. When completed and put into operation, the project will connect the La Son - Hoa Lien expressway and Hai Van tunnel, National Highway 1 with the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway and National Highway 14B.
