Da Nang welcomes a vibrant holiday season

From morning to evening, Da Nang beaches welcome a large number of people and tourists to experience activities as well as swim and cool off in the summer.

Tourists can participate in games such as SUP, floating, jet skiing, swimming, checking in at sand sculptures and decorative spots along the beach. They can even enjoy exciting performances and entertainment to liven up the atmosphere on the beach.

During this holiday, the work of ensuring security, safety, and serving the people and tourists was well implemented. Rescue work at beaches and supporting tourists received special attention. Units arranged rescue forces to be on duty and remind the coast throughout the day to ensure safety.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nhi's family (35 years old) and her friends went on a few days' holiday in Da Nang and Hoi An ( Quang Nam ). The group experienced many activities here such as swimming, visiting entertainment spots in the evening, and enjoying the cuisine.

"On the last day of the holiday, we swam in the sea, had breakfast, and then leisurely drove back to Hue. Although it was hot, the whole group had a fun holiday together," Nhi shared.

Major tourist attractions such as Ba Na Hills, Asia Park, Ngu Hanh Son Scenic Area, Linh Ung Pagoda, Son Tra Mountain, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, DaNa MikaZuki Tourist and Resort Area... are always crowded with people.

On the last day of the holiday, Da Nang gradually lost its visitors, the beach was no longer too crowded. At the bus station and train station, groups of people returned to their hometowns to start the upcoming days of work and study. There were also buses and trains taking people back to the city.

The total number of flights to Da Nang during the 5-day holiday is about 563. On average, there are 112 flights to Da Nang every day, including 61 domestic flights and 51 international flights.

Notably, the number of tourists coming to Da Nang by train increased by more than 60% compared to the same period in 2023 with more than 16,000 arrivals. In addition, the number of tourists traveling by road, especially by self-sufficient means, also increased.

Everyone also returned to Da Nang after 5 days off.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the total number of visitors and visitors staying in Da Nang during the holidays reached more than 336,000. Of which, international visitors reached about 72,000, an increase of more than 2 times compared to the same period in 2023; domestic visitors reached about 264,000. Total tourism revenue reached about 1,336 billion VND, an increase of 12.7% compared to the same period in 2023.

The average capacity of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments is 70%. The average capacity of 3 star or lower tourist accommodation establishments is 45%, mostly individual guests.

Tourism service businesses in the city have implemented self-inspection, ensuring service quality, complying with regulations on security, order, environmental sanitation, food safety, etc. to serve people and tourists.
