Da Nang launches Sea Flower Street to serve locals and tourists

NDO - This afternoon (April 30), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang in coordination with relevant units organized the opening ceremony and put the Da Nang Beach Flowers Walk 2025 into operation, contributing to creating a clean, green and beautiful environment, serving the people and tourists.

This is also a meaningful activity of Da Nang city to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and serve tourists during the peak holiday season of April 30, May 1 and the beach tourism season in 2025.

This flower street is decorated and renovated by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches with a length of nearly 2km to serve the people and attract tourists, contributing to building the brand of Da Nang beach tourism.

With the arrangement of flower clusters and colorful foliage plants combined with lighting effects in the form of decorative art, the arrangement along the sidewalk of Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road is inspired by the cultural features of the central coastal region.

The "Sea Flower Street 2025" stretches from the Vo Van Kiet-Vo Nguyen Giap intersection to the Vo Nguyen Giap-Hoang Ke Viem intersection, making Da Nang's sea space more colorful.

The decoration and construction of Da Nang Sea Flower Street aims to create more private corners with beautiful sea views to best serve the needs of people and tourists to watch the sea, walk and enjoy the sea air, and check in to have beautiful pictures.

On this occasion, Da Nang city calls on beach businesses, in addition to ensuring environmental hygiene, to cooperate with the Son Tra Peninsula Management Board and Da Nang tourist beaches to decorate with flowers and other suitable forms in their business areas so that the Sea Flower Street can be maintained for a long time, creating a highlight along the coastal road.

Before 2024, Da Nang tested and put into operation this Sea Flower Street.
