On the morning of November 28, the delegation attending the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025 - 2030, led by Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, along with nearly 200 delegates, offered flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward).
The delegation observed a minute of silence and offered flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, genius leader of the Party and people, outstanding cultural figure of the country.
The delegation expressed their infinite gratitude and sincere respect for President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and building a peaceful , independent, unified, prosperous and developed socialist Vietnam.
After the incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Promoting the strength of great solidarity" at Lam Son Park and attended the social security program in Saigon ward.
Vietnam Fatherland Front - The strength of great national unity
The photo exhibition with the theme "Vietnam Fatherland Front - The Strength of Great National Unity", takes place from November 28 to 30, with 3 main photo clusters.
Cluster 1 introduces the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City. Cluster 2 promotes the strength of national solidarity to build and develop the city. Cluster 3 is the people of Ho Chi Minh City unite with one heart, towards compatriots affected by storms and floods.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Truong Thi Bich Hanh shared that each photo is a story, recording the correct directions and decisions of the city's leaders, the tireless efforts of generations of Front officials, organizations and especially the responsible community participation of the people.
He also expressed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City need to further promote the traditions and achievements of previous generations; innovate and create to continue expanding, strengthening and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in the city named after Uncle Ho.
The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025 - 2030 will take place in 1.5 days (November 29 and morning of November 30) at the Binh Duong Exhibition Convention Center (Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The number of delegates is 880, including 500 official delegates and 380 invited delegates.
Before the congress, on November 28, delegates attended the incense and flower offering ceremony at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh; and offered incense and flowers at the martyrs' cemeteries in Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau regions.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized the opening of the photo exhibition "Vietnam Fatherland Front - The strength of great national unity"; participated in social security activities and implemented the project "Great Unity Garden".
