On October 13, the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Khanh Hoa province held its 9th Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the congress were the Central leaders: Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers; Mr. Tran Viet Hung - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper; the provincial leaders included: Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

In the 2019 - 2024 term, the work of building and consolidating a strong association continued to develop in both scale and quality; the methods and forms of organizing the association's activities became increasingly diverse, the content gradually became closer to the needs of young people and the practical situation at the grassroots level; the methods of gathering and uniting young people were innovated, more diverse and effective; the association's activities, programs and movements were implemented more effectively, creating a good environment for young people to practice.

In political and ideological education, all levels of the provincial association have paid attention to innovation in content and methods; 100% of cadres, members and 80% of young people have studied and thoroughly grasped the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; the association in the whole province has organized more than 40 forums and seminars on "Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" with 5,500 members and young people participating... Promoting the spirit of shock and volunteerism, in the past 5 years, more than 150,000 members and young people have participated in volunteer activities, with an activity value of more than 12 billion VND; built more than 42 "Houses of Charity"; organized 58 activities of consulting, medical examination, and free medicine provision...

In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Youth Union of the province set out a number of key targets such as: 100% of cadres are thoroughly informed and educated, and 80% of members and young people are propagandized and disseminated about the resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union and the Association, provided with information on policies, laws, and equipped with knowledge on national defense and security; 80 innovative start-up projects of young people are connected with businesses, venture capital funds or supported with investment from appropriate funding sources; 250,000 young people access digital capacity building activities, proficiently use digital media; 40,000 young people and people in difficult circumstances receive free health care and chronic disease screening...

At the working session on October 13, the congress consulted to elect the 9th term Association Committee consisting of 45 members; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the 8th term Vietnam Youth Union of the province was re-elected as Chairman of the 9th term Vietnam Youth Union of the province, term 2024 - 2029.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee presented the congress with a banner with the words: Khanh Hoa Youth "Patriotic - Solidarity - Aggressive - Creative - Integration - Development". The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to 9 collectives and 13 individuals; the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the association and youth movement for the 2019-2024 term. In addition, the Vietnam Youth Union of Khanh Hoa province awarded 20 million VND to the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen province; awarded more than 90 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province to support the people of the North to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
