The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just announced that the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, will not accept congratulatory gifts and flowers.

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office has just announced that it will not accept gifts and congratulatory flowers for the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

This notice was sent by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to communes, wards and Con Dao Special Zone, departments, branches, and sectors; city associations and unions; corporations and state-owned companies of Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City does not accept gifts and flowers to congratulate the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.

The notice stated that in order to implement the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Office of the City Party Committee, while practicing thrift and ensuring security, the Office of the City Party Committee respectfully requests that agencies, units and individuals not send gifts or flowers to congratulate the congress.

The City Party Committee Office requests that agencies pay attention to coordinating and contributing to the success of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also announced the schedule of activities of delegates summoned to attend the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, delegates work in groups from the first day of the conference until the end of the congress and travel by shuttle bus arranged by the organizing committee.

Regarding equipment, software, and documents used by delegates in the congress, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office announced that it would strictly implement the spirit of comprehensive digital transformation and that the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress would not use paper documents (except for confidential documents).

The notice recommends that each delegate bring a tablet to access information and documents related to the congress. The City Party Committee Office will notify and guide delegates to install, log in and use the software to monitor information and documents related to the congress.

To ensure security during the congress, delegates are requested to limit the carrying of handbags and other personal belongings other than those provided. For confidential documents, delegates must keep them in accordance with the Law on Protection of State Secrets.

The congress consisted of 12 discussion groups. Delegates worked in groups throughout the congress.

The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, took place from October 13 to 15, 2025. On the morning of October 13, delegates attended the preparatory session of the congress; on the whole day of October 14 and the morning of October 15, delegates attended the congress (official and closing sessions).
